So being a new mac user I often wonder how I could backup all of my important data in case of accidental damage to my beloved computer. Well, back when I was a Windows user there are many backup software out there to do the biddings but now I’m on a Mac and wanting to be cheap opt to find free solutions.

As for me I use a simple Automator script to do my backup. I have the script run against a source folder and just dump all the files onto my external hard drive. done and done!
